Common Conditions and Physiotherapy Treatment
Physiotherapists manage and prevent many physical problems caused by illness, disease, sport and work-related injury, aging, and long periods of inactivity. Working with us can help you relieve pain, regain movement, and learn exercises to train your muscles again. We treat most common conditions and offer several specialty programs.
Physiotherapy Vestibular Treatment
Symptoms of vestibular disorder may include dizziness when lying down, waking up dizzy, and vestibular neuritis. In fact, vertigo and dizziness is a symptom of a problem in your Vestibular System – the part of your brain that controls balance and eye movement. Luckily, this can be fixed. Vestibular treatment for dizziness and balance begins with examinations followed by a series of exercises to help you regain balance and control.
Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy
Pelvic Floor Physio uses an effective and non surgical approach to help promote healthy pelvic functions. Common pelvic floor dysfunction and symptoms may include urinary or gas incontinence, pelvic and lower back pain, pain during pregnancy, and more. Pelvic floor challenges are treatable via pelvic physiotherapy, which includes thorough examinations and manual therapy. Many patients have regained control over their health.
Physiotherapy for Heel Pain
Symptoms may begin with a dull pain in the heel that may gradually get sharper and persistent over time. Heel pain is often caused by an inflammation of the fibrous band that maintains the arch of the foot called plantar fascia (it is treated by plantar fasciitis physiotherapy). In addition, structural problems like flat feet or high arches often result in inflammation which could lead to conditions like heel spur. Our experienced Physiotherapist will closely examine your condition to address all aspects of your healing process, so you can get back to doing the things you love to do!
Concussion Physiotherapy
A concussion is often caused by a blow to the head, face, neck, or elsewhere on the body with a force transmitted to the head. It is a brain injury that affects how your brain works and can happen even if you haven’t been knocked unconscious. A Pre-Concussion Screening measures an athlete’s memory, attention, and problem-solving abilities prior to any brain injury. After a concussion, the athlete would be re-evaluated as necessary to help promote a faster recovery. We also provide athletic physiotherapy to help athletes recover and perform better.

Oshawa Physio Clinic Patient Reviews
The city we call home – City of Oshawa
Since 2016, we have been helping thousands of local patients here in Oshawa, Whitby, and the neighboring communities. Oshawa is a beautiful city located on the Lake Ontario shoreline about 60km east of downtown Toronto. Our city has many remarkable places to visit including The Harmony Valley Conservation Area, Darlington Provincial Park, Canadian Automotive Museum, and The Robert McLaughlin Gallery. We love this city, the energy, and most of all the people. Many of our Physiotherapists are locals here too and they are motivated to help make the community a better place via healthcare. After all, life is better pain free when you are living a more active lifestyle.
